NOISE MAPS and CITY PLANNING

A Noise Map is an effective design tool. It is a map that shows equal sound level lines in a chosen city or area, and allows comparisons of different versions of the planned area or different versions of the transportation system development. Sound level contours from different types of noise sources such as highways, railways, and industrial buildings may be calculated.

We provide noise maps using several calculation standards acceptable in different countries. For this purpose we use SOUNDPLAN software, which allows high accuracy sound level calculation. The calculation results are approved with control sound measurement.

A Noise Map defines and marks areas with high noise pollution and allows to compare different versions of the planned area or different versions of the transportation system development.

Noise Mapping is recommended for city planners and transportation designers assistance.
